Where Do I Go From Here?

Have you ever received directions which involved turning right, then turning left, or vice versa,  and got everything all mixed up?

That happens to me too often. The fact is I cannot naturally distinguish my right from my left, so I have had to memorize some formula which worked if I was taking a leisurely stroll, but couldn't work if I was in a hurry. Since I was always in a hurry, I guessed which was my left and which was my right almost all of the time, and guess what? I was wrong almost all of the time!

However, thankfully, I recently learned an easier way to identify my left and right hands:

If you hold both hands out in front of you, palms facing outward, the thumbs separated from the other fingers, the thumb and the fingers of your left hand will naturally form an uppercase "L."

Well, "L" stands for Left; and so by remembering that you'll always be able to  know where to turn, if someone says, "Turn  left."

Of course, the hand whose fingers do not create a proper uppercase "L" - the other hand (thank God we only have two), is your right hand!

If you're directionally challenged, you know that life is not easy for us. Any strategy you have - big or small - that can make our lives easier, would be greatly appreciated.

Please join our Movement to make directional challenge recognizable to those who don't know it, so that together, we can implement policies that will make life easier for all concerned.

I need your help. I need your voice. I need your support. Won't you join me in this endeavor?

You can visit my youtube channel @ https://www.youtube.com/@eulenegreenland6433 to listen to my song about being directionally challenged (hilarious!), or visit my website @ https://www.epatsygreenland.com to get or share some more ideas.

I hope you will.
